Climate Change - Health Concerns Related to Global Warming

Global warming affects on the environment, as well as the health of people living in that environment. Climate change, the impact of human habitat as animal habitat. Human health is very sensitive to these changes.

Global warming resulting rise in temperature in the environment. Devastating heat recently occurred in areas of the world that do not have the extreme heat. Heat waves in Europe in 2003, lasted as long as two weeks, and the temperature soared higher than 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Although temperatures as widespread in parts of the American South-European summer is usually much colder. Over 35000 people died because of the heat this year. They were ill-equipped to deal with change in their habitat.

There were also heat in North America. One in 2006 claimed 226 lives. Another result of global warming is the increase of pollen in the air. Highest levels of carbon dioxide to stimulate growth of pollen-producing more weeds. Those with allergies and asthma suffer because more pollen means poorer air quality. The incidence of tropical diseases has also increased as disease-mosquito will not be able to live in places that were previously too cold for them. Mosquitoes are the spread of malaria in new regions of Indonesia, and dengue fever has reached heights in the Andean Mountains in Colombia, where previously he had never seen.

Other health problems associated with global warming linked to the flooding that sometimes happens as a result. If there are sudden storms and floods often impossible to transport sick or injured people to hospitals in time. Driving accidents and accidental drownings increase during the floods. In messes that must be cleaned after the floods could lead to the exposure of high levels of mold, which many people have serious allergic reactions such as rashes or swelling-language.

Since global warming may harm the delivery of food, agrarian society, people in underdeveloped countries a greater risk for malnutrition.

If everyone knew how global warming may affect their health, they may be more inclined to work towards a solution. Until then, those who understand the consequences of global warming will have to work even harder.
